Mr. Sam Ghosh is the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Reliance Capital Ltd., the financial services company of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.

Prior to joining the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, he was the regional CEO of  the Middle-East and Indian sub-continent (MENA) for Allianz SE looking after the Life and Non-Life insurance business in the countries from Egypt, GCC countries to Bangladesh. He has had stints as a CEO and Country Manager with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company, Bajaj Allianz Operation (India). He was involved in setting up operations for Allianz in South East Asia. He spent 10 years in Australia in various capacities with Allianz from being the Chief Financial Officer to managing subsidiary companies as well as operations in the Pacific Rim.

Mr. Ghosh carries with him enormous experience in the financial sector. He has held key positions in some of the most reputed financial organizations. This includes directorship at Allianz ROSNO Life (Russia), Allianz Takaful Bahrain Ltd. (Bahrain), Allianz Insurance Co. Egypt Ltd. (Egypt), Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance (India); to name a few. His professional footprint has taken him to several countries across the globe.                                                                                                     

He graduated from the University of London in Mechanical Engineering, further he went on to get his ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales.  

Mr. Ghosh’s hobbies are reading, swimming and playing tennis. He makes sure he takes time out to pursue these on a regular basis.
