Naveen Kshatriya is on BP’s Lubricant Global leadership team as the Regional Vice-President responsible for South Asia, Middle East, Africa and Turkey. He concurrently heads Castrol India as CEO & Managing Director.

An engineer from IIT Kharagpur, he started as a management trainee with Hindustan Unilever and grew in the sales & marketing function. Moving out for an international stint as CEO of an Evian associate in ‘88, he joined back Unilever in ‘91 in the Middle East .

Naveen returned to India in ‘98 to join Castrol India as business director for their predominant Consumer Automotive business , one of top 3 operations in Castrol’s global portfolio. Appointed as Asia Pacific Marketing Director based in Hong Kong in 2000, he continued in this role for BP Castrol merged lubricant business after BP acquisition of Castrol. In ‘02, Naveen returned to India as CEO and MD of Castrol India. He was appointed as Regional head in ‘04. 

Keen to share his marketing experience & insights, Naveen has addressed  external forums, including graduate business administration programs in prestigious institutions like INSEAD, Fontainbleu.

Naveen is a Non-Executive Director on the board of Canara Robeco AMC. He plays a lead role in the Indian Lubricant Manufacturer’s Association. He has also been on the Managing Committee of Bombay Chamber of Commerce, the Indian Society of Advertisers, and the CII MNC council.
 
Naveen is married to Puja, a well-known artist and has two sons.
