Joining Hakuhodo in 1992, Kimura first honed his skills as a strategic planner, later going on to widen the scope of his work well beyond the bounds of his position when he handled a noted campaign through the entire process—from strategy, product, creative and media development and even as far as content development.
In 2006 he established Hakuhodo Kettle—a creative agency that plans and implements innovative new campaigns—where he continues to keep the world aboil.
As an Account Planner, Kimura’s list of recognitions included 2001 Grand Trophy and 2007 Gold for Advertising Marketing Effectiveness at the New York Festival. He also received Gold at Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, SPIKES, New York ADC and CLIO, Bronze at Oneshow and Cannes as a Creative Director. He was a member of jury for the Promo Lion at Cannes International Advertising Festival in 2007.
