Josy is among the top 10 most influential people in advertising - according to the Brand Equity-Economic Times survey 2007.

As Chairman and National Creative Director of BBDO India, he is part of BBDO "the world's most creative advertising network". Josy was the National Creative Director of JWT in India in 2007. He was also the co-founder of RMG David, the smallest worldwide agency along with Ogilvy & Mather (O&M).

Josy is the winner of India's first One Show Pencil (Silver.) Along with his team at David, he has won almost every Indian and International advertising award. Their work for Alpenliebe Lollipop "Lagey Raho' in 2004 is still one of the most memorable campaigns in India. His early campaigns for Timex Watches and Tanishq Jewellery and
Grasim Gwalior Suiting (featuring Indian celebrities Sharmila and Pataudi) won him local recognition.

He led the work for Rupert Murdoch's indya.com which won 'campaign of the year'.

Josy has been part of many international juries - like the Clios, the Young Guns New York Festivals and London International.

Josy lives by the philosophy "Think like the navy, deliver like the pirates." He was born during an earthquake.
