Harmanjit Singh joined Godfrey Phillips India in 2003 and is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the corporate image of Godfrey Phillips India both externally and internally. Besides Corporate Communications, he also spearheads Companies CSR initiatives. He is responsible for remodeling Godfrey Phillips Bravery Awards and also launched India’s first responsible smokers program ‘WHITE’ - We Honor the Importance of Tobacco Etiquette.
Prior to joining Godfrey Phillips India, Harmanjit had a 12 year stint in Advertising, Direct Marketing and CRM in Agencies like Nexus Equity, Mccann Erickson and J Walter Thompson. He has worked on several reputed brands like Ericsson, Hero Honda, Indian Airlines, Air India, HP, Lufthansa, and Microsoft besides many others. He was an integral part of the teams that won several International awards such as India's first Cannes Silver Lion for ‘One black coffee’ TVC for Ericsson mobile phone and The Advertising & Marketing Effectiveness (AME) Silver Award at the New York Festival for Indian Airlines. He was also instrumental in launching India’s largest CRM programme – Hero Honda Passport programme which has over 3.9 million paid members.
He is a Graduate in social sciences and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising.
Harmanjit is an active member of CII’s CSR Sub Committee and Indian Forum of Corporate Communicators.
