A senior professional on the fast track of corporate achievement, Mr. Girish Shah is Head - Branding at the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. He manages the brand equity of the Reliance and Big brands for the group.
Mr. Shah has majored in Chemistry followed by a post – graduate Diploma in Marketing from St. Xavier’s college and a Master’s Degree in Management from Mumbai University in ’92 with a specialization in Marketing.
Mr. Shah carries with him an experience of several years in leading Multi-National Companies - Reckitts, Johnson & Johnson, Scottish & Newcastle and Kingfisher Airlines.
He played a significant role in the marketing and launch of the High impact Reliance Power IPO which has gone on to win awards in the integrated marketing campaign space as well as a nomination at the ‘Emvies’. Apart from this, the Reliance General Insurance advertising campaign has won the bronze at the ‘Goa fest’ 2008. This year, the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group brand has surged ahead from Number 13 to Number 3 in the ‘Impact Buzziest Brands’ survey.
Mr. Shah enjoys swimming, music, playing squash, traveling, reading and is a fitness enthusiast.
