Dr. Kishore Gopalakrishna Pillai lectures on marketing at the Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds. He has taught courses on marketing strategy, marketing research and international marketing. Dr. Kishore Pillai holds a PhD in marketing from Florida State University and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. Prior to his academic career, he served in the industry for several years and has been a senior project manager with NFO-MBL (currently TNS India) and the market analyst at Arvind Brands Limited.
Dr. Pillai’s research focuses on consumer knowledge, knowledge calibration, business to business relationships and business networks. His research has been published in International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, and the Journal of Strategic Marketing, among others. He is on the editorial board of Industrial Marketing Management and has presented papers at several conferences around the world. Dr. Pillai is a member of the Academy of Marketing Science, European Marketing Academy, and British Academy of Management. |
